SOAR is pleased to announce their Sixth Annual Autism Awareness Walk and Family Fun Day to be held at Lakeview Regional Medical Center on Saturday, April 2, 2016 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. The purpose is to raise awareness in our community about autism spectrum disorder and funds in order to provide quality workshops and training for families, caregivers, related service providers, educators and individuals on the spectrum. The ultimate goal is to open a center on the Northshore that provides various therapeutic services to individuals with an autism spectrum disorder including life skills and social skills. Families of SOAR depend on your assistance in order to provide the resources, information and support that is limited in our community.
