Lakeview Regional Medical Center is excited to announce that it will host the Kids’ Town EGGStravaganza on “the Green” on Sunday, April 13th from noon until 4pm. The event, taking place adjacent the pond facing the hospital, will feature three different age-level Easter egg hunts, special eggs with  Elmer Candy coupons, food and drink, arts & crafts tents, entertainment, photos with the Easter Bunny,  and new this year—Corporate Baby Duck Beauty Pageant. The highlight of the day is the Rubber Duck Regatta Race, for which only 2000 $5 duck entries will be sold. The first lucky duck to cross the finish line will win $500.  Admission is just $1 per person; little peeps under 3 are free. All proceeds go to the construction of KidsTown, a child-sized, western-style railroad town designed for interactive play that will include a fire station, sheriff’s office, general store, and more.

“We are thrilled to host this fun, family event that will help fund the Kids Town,” states Laurie Spurlin, LRMC Assistant Director of Business Development & Volunteers. “The Tammany Trace Foundation shares our commitment to the children of this community, and our combined efforts will assist in continuing to enhance our quality of life in St. Tammany.” The Tammany Trace Foundation is the 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is the inspiration behind the special events and fundraisers that help support numerous projects on the trace
